Ever wished that you had a spare hand to hold open a cage door while you placed a bait, set a trigger or worked inside ? Well now you can have !

These simple devices clip to the top or side of the cage ready until you need them. When you open the cage door, swing the ‘Extra Hand’ into place and hook the door onto it – gravity of the spring will hold the door on the clip leaving you with both hands free.

Cage Door Spring Latch (Pair)

We sell these in pairs and our cage spring latch is perfect for securing the door on most bird or small animal cages. They are designed to attach on either the door or the cage, then by putting your finger in the loop you can stretch the spring and hook the other end down. The tension then keeps the door closed.

Cage Making – J Clip Pliers

A pair of specialist J Clip Pliers for crimping J clips. The J Clips are a lightweight, flexible clip that wraps around the wires and overlaps. Easier to remove than our Heavy Duty range of clips these also wrap tightly on a range of wire thicknesses.

Purpose made for joining wire mesh panels.

Best suited for wire from gauge 12 to 14. The clips start to become a little loose on 16 and upwards. They can be used on 10 gauge if the gap between fixing points is reduced.
