Squirrel Traps

As a non-native species it is illegal to release captured Grey Squirrels back into the wild in the UK. Many people lack the practical and emotional ability to dispatch a captured squirrel humanely and it’s usually the squirrel who suffers as a result.  A well made, tested and approved dispatch trap provides a quick, effective and humane result with minimal distress to all parties.

HOWEVER Lethal squirrel traps MUST ONLY be used to control grey squirrels.  Native red squirrels are protected by law and if trapping in an area where Red Squirrels or Pine Marten may be present only LIVE CATCH cage traps may be used.
