Description
FENNs are one of the three manufacturers of the ‘FENN type’ spring trap named in the Approval Order. Size 4 are approved for use on grey squirrels, weasels, rats and mice. As with all Spring Traps these must be used in a tunnel in order to prevent harm to any non-target animals.
All though technically legal, these traps are not recommended for use on grey squirrels.

From 1st April 2020 these trap are no longer approved for stoat in the UK. Where stoats are known to be present, or likely to be caught, an AIHTS compliant trap should be used. As the law is currently unclear about accidental stoat catches, anyone setting a trap must do their own risk assessment.

This trap works a treat, much better than the plastic rubbish from China. Catch 3 (cautious) rats in the garden within two days. They actively avoided the plastic ones. Well worth the price.

Genuine Fenn traps! These are my go to trap for rats (I have just ordered 6 more). I do a lot of work down the farms and these are my number 1 trap choice. I did have some of the slightly cheaper Solway copies, but they don’t last as long and don’t get the same catch rate. Fornear enough the same price the Fenn Mk4s are your best choice. They are higher quality, last longer and do the job better. Stick with these.
