Description

We are delighted to be able to sell this DVD – known as the ‘Woodga DVD’ it’s an absolute classic that should be in any field sports library.

In this DVD Woodga takes you through the whole process of making and setting rabbit snares using the wire tealer and large loop method championed by Glenn Waters.  A long time friend of Glenn, Woodga has regularly collaborated on the development and testing of the rabbit snare.

With this DVD you can literally start with a spool of wire and end with simple, light weight and highly effective snares.  Also covers the use of hoop and fence snares.

The Woodga DVD is also available as part of a Bundle with wire and eyelets.

Since this DVD was made, new best practice guidelines on the use of snares have been introduced . In Scotland the 2010 Snare Order has made some of these guidelines a legal requirement.  All users of snares have a responsibility to keep up to date with changing advice and legislation in their region, which is usually published on government websites.

Snaring in Scotland: a practitioners’ guide Edition 4 published Dec 2012 – a guide to best practice and the revised legislation in Scotland.

Very informative and watchable DVD, containing details on making and setting 3 types of rabbit snare, as well as dozens of useful small hints that could well be the difference between catching and not.
No book or DVD can be a substitute for getting out and setting wires yourself, but as a starting place, this one will take some beating.

Have watched snare video and its fantastic. I have learnt from it. To be honest I think its worth more than fifteen quid. Thanks for the speed at which it arrived. I genuinely think anyone starting out should be made to study the DVD. I’ve been snaring for thirty years but I have still learnt from it.
